This lesson is excellent for helping parents and other caregivers communicate well with toddlers thru pre-school age kids. We've seen it reduce tantrum time significantly --on the part of children AND adults! When the kids sense that their feelings do matter, it fosters closeness, and when the parents don't feel clueless, they are able to handle the challenges so much better.

Used this technique with a client's toddler before she viewed the video. The toddler responded immediately and she was amazed. It may look foolish to adults but it speaks kids' language and they listen!

I watched the DVD with my daughter and toddler grandson when our PRC purchased a new EWYL curriculum. The techniques the doctor used were, in our opinion, overly animated and seemed impractical for daily use. I returned the DVD.
